The College is looking for a Supported Internship Coordinator to co-ordinate the provision of internship placements for learners which support their learning, their progression prospects and the College’s reputation with employers
The role will consist of effectively planning and coordinating the provision of supported internships for learners which supports their learning, their EHCP outcomes, their progression prospects and the College’s reputation with employers.
Engaging employers to create ‘supported internship’ opportunities for young people with Special Educational & Development Needs (SEND) and lease with local authorities on the recruitment of learners to the programme.
The ideal candidate will coordinate the access to work funding process, support annual EHCP review meetings and lease with local providers to promote the Supported Internship programme including Schools, Parent Carer Forums and Local Authorities.
