Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Goods In store service. Initially, this involves receiving and meticulously inspecting deliveries from suppliers, cross-referencing their contents with delivery notes and purchase orders. Subsequently, you will store or deliver stock and equipment to the relevant departments. Moreover, you will prepare outbound goods for dispatch and ensure that the correct equipment is selected for delivery. Additionally, maintaining the store area to high cleanliness and safety standards is crucial. You will also assist with stocktaking and inventory updates. Furthermore, you will input data into the BEST database and liaise with suppliers regarding returns. Finally, you will provide support to admin and service teams, thereby contributing to overall departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

• Essential:
  • Demonstrable experience in a goods-received or warehousing environment.
  • Physical fitness and capability to handle manual tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient IT skills.
• Desirable:
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety at Work regulations.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
