As a valued Support Worker, your role will involve:

• Providing person-centered support tailored to the unique needs of each individual we assist.
• Fostering independence and building confidence in the people we support.
• Assisting with a variety of daily living tasks, including personal care, developing life skills, and supporting participation in work, leisure, and social activities.
• Encouraging social inclusion and actively empowering individuals to engage with their communities.
• Providing practical assistance with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances.
• Supporting individuals in accessing relevant benefits and financial assistance.
• Contributing to the creation and maintenance of a safe and welcoming home environment.
• Working collaboratively to support individual personal development plans and participating in review processes.

We are looking for individuals who possess:

• A naturally caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting others.
• An SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare (or a demonstrable willingness to achieve this qualification).
• Basic computer skills necessary for record-keeping and engaging in online training.
• Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and ¹ participation in sleepover duties as required.
