As a valued Support Worker, your role will involve:
- Providing person-centered support tailored to the unique needs of each individual we assist.
- Fostering independence and building confidence in the people we support.
- Assisting with a variety of daily living tasks, including personal care, developing life skills, and supporting participation in work, leisure, and social activities.
- Encouraging social inclusion and actively empowering individuals to engage with their communities.
- Providing practical assistance with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances.
- Supporting individuals in accessing relevant benefits and financial assistance.
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of a safe and welcoming home environment.
- Working collaboratively to support individual personal development plans and participating in review processes.
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- A naturally caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting others.
- An SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare (or a demonstrable willingness to achieve this qualification).
- Basic computer skills necessary for record-keeping and engaging in online training.
- Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and 1 participation in sleepover duties as required.
