This is a pivotal role where you will directly contribute to the career development and success of our diverse student body, guiding them towards fulfilling and impactful careers in the international business landscape.

Your Role as a Key Careers Coach:

As a vital member of our team, you will provide comprehensive career support through:

  • Personalized Coaching: Deliver impactful one-to-one coaching sessions, empowering students to identify their strengths, navigate career choices, and develop effective job search strategies.
  • Expert Career Guidance: Offer tailored career guidance both in person and through online platforms, ensuring students receive timely and relevant support.
  • Engaging Workshop and Webinar Delivery: Design and facilitate dynamic group workshops and webinars, covering essential career development topics.
  • Comprehensive E-Guidance: Provide effective e-guidance and resources to support students throughout their career journey.
  • First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial point of contact for student career queries, offering expert advice and support.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with our Employer Relations team to connect WBS talent with leading recruiters, enhancing student placement opportunities.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Adapt to the demands of the role, including occasional evening and weekend work to meet student needs.

We are Seeking a Talented Careers Coach With:

  • Proven experience in graduate or experienced hire recruitment, or higher education careers services.
  • Exceptional communication skills and professional credibility, enabling you to build rapport and trust with students.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a dynamic caseload and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to developing and delivering engaging career programs.
  • A strong collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively with the Employer Relations team.
  • A robust work ethic, tenacity, and a genuine passion for enhancing student engagement and career services.
