Are you a skilled IT Support Engineer seeking a challenging and rewarding role? We’re looking for a talented individual to join our team in Birmingham and contribute to the smooth operation of our client’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential first and second-line support to users, resolving hardware and software issues across a range of devices, including PCs, laptops, printers, tablets, and servers.
• Efficiently provision and configure hardware for new users, ensuring seamless onboarding.
• Monitor and maintain the health of the company’s IT infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Manage and prioritize support requests, effectively communicating progress to users.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve processes.

Skills and Experience:

• At least two years of hands-on experience in IT support or a related field.
• Strong technical proficiency in Windows Networks, VMWare, Microsoft Remote Desktop, Office 365, Microsoft Office, and MySQL.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Experience in hardware provisioning for new users, including laptops and mobile phones.
• Familiarity with Microsoft VBA is a plus.
