American Express is actively seeking a dynamic and results-driven International Digital Marketing Manager to spearhead impactful digital and Above-The-Line (ATL) marketing initiatives across our key international markets. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving merchant acquisition strategies and accelerating our global expansion within the Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) division. As a valued member of our LAC & Digital Marketing team, you will be instrumental in elevating awareness and transforming perceptions surrounding American Express acceptance, particularly among small business owners.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Strategic Digital & ATL Campaign Leadership:

  • Conceptualize and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns designed to significantly enhance awareness and consideration of Amex acceptance.
  • Leverage insights from previous campaigns and in-depth market analysis to continuously refine and evolve our digital channel and ATL media strategies.
  • Optimize the channel mix and budgetary allocations to maximize campaign performance across diverse regions and platforms.
  • Champion media innovation while rigorously adhering to brand safety guidelines and maintaining brand integrity.

Creative Development & User Journey Optimization:

  • Develop compelling and engaging creative assets, messaging, and seamless user journeys that align perfectly with campaign objectives and target audience needs.
  • Ensure all campaigns are fully compliant with regulatory requirements, consistently aligned with brand guidelines, and flawlessly executed across all targeted geographies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal technology teams to optimize campaign tracking mechanisms, enhance user experience (UX), and refine digital journeys.

Performance Measurement & Data-Driven Optimization:

  • Establish robust success metrics and comprehensive tracking systems for each campaign to ensure accurate performance measurement.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance data, generate actionable insights, and implement data-driven strategies for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Provide detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and recommendations for future campaigns.

Stakeholder & Agency Collaboration:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to creative and media agencies, challenging them to deliver innovative and impactful campaigns that exceed expectations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Technology teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
  • Ensure all campaigns are aligned with local market priorities and contribute to the achievement of international business goals.

People Leadership & Team Development:

  • Effectively manage and mentor a team of 1-2 digital marketing executives, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, constructive feedback, and career development opportunities to support the professional growth of team members.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in people management and a proven track record of successfully leading digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to optimize marketing strategies and drive measurable results.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for innovation across media and creative channels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in end-to-end ATL and digital campaign delivery.
  • Experience working with diverse global teams and managing relationships with external agency partners.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cultures and functions.
