Graduate Teaching Assistant

This would be a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to start a career in teaching. The role would be for a general teaching assistant with plenty of options to lead small group interventions and 1:1 academic support.

Pay : 70-95 each day

Location: South Birmingham

Start Date: ASAP or September

The role would be suited to a somebody who is looking to start their career in education. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from an experienced staff team in a school that leads by example.

We are looking for:

A bright and enthusiastic graduate who is willing to learn

Organised and hardworking

Excellent communication skills

Desire to learn from other members of staff and share knowledge in spirit of collaboration

Your main duties:

Supporting the teacher to ensure the pupils get the best teaching and learning on a daily basis

Enhancing learning in the class, leading with small groups and on a one-to-one basis

Delivering interventions to meet the needs of the pupils

Supporting the children’s social and emotional well-being, especially pupils with ASD needs

Working with small groups of children to support their learning of English and Maths
