Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a recent English Graduate to join one of our client schools in Manchester as a Teaching Assistant at one of our client schools to support their pupils who require additional attention.

In order to be able to work within one of our client schools, it is essential that you are able to complete the registration process.

It is essential that you are willing to apply for a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check to ensure that you do not have any criminal convictions which would prevent you from working with young people.

Once this check has been completed, you will also be required to place it onto the update service to ensure that it remains an accurate and active check.

You will also be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references to cover the last two years of your employment history.

You will earn a competitive salary between £385 and £450 per week dependent on the requirements of the school.

Through Teaching Personnel, there will be more opportunities to progress onto training placements or courses to support you in your career development.

Based on good feedback, there will be opportunities to progress onto other positions within the same school or in a different client school.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the pupils who struggle the most academically within school.

You must ensure that the pupils are focussed throughout the lessons and answer any questions that they may have regarding the lessons to ensure that they are gaining a better understanding of the subject.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
