Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Controls Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our engineering teams in the following key areas:
- Actively assist in a diverse range of software and control engineering tasks.
- Engage in collaborative projects, working closely with our local engineering teams.
- Provide critical support in the development and implementation of advanced automotive control systems.
Your Qualifications and Profile:
Essential Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an engineering or automotive-related degree program.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
- A strong foundation in control theory principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
- Availability to commit to a minimum internship duration of 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications (Enhance Your Application):
- Experience with programming languages such as Java and Python.
- Specialized knowledge in areas such as energy management, vehicle dynamics, battery management systems (BMS), and torque production.
- Possession of a valid UK driving license.
