What we’re looking for?
As a recent graduate, or as someone who’s opted for a placement within their degree course, you’ll be looking to start your career as a 3D Artist with an eye for visualisation using 3D CAD software. Your degree must contain a high level of visualisation content and you should be able to provide an exceptional portfolio showcasing your artistic skills. This role is paid, available for one year, and offers a fantastic opportunity to work on real visualisation-related projects in an exciting and varied environment.
Reporting to the Creative Team Manager, you will be responsible for asset creation, both to support visual-based marketing material created by the company, as well as within the delivered products.
Is this your dream role? Please take a moment to meet some of our current interns who share their thoughts on working as an intern at Siemens. If you can picture yourself learning, growing, and succeeding in our team then we would love to hear from you
What you’ll be doing?
Our role has two primary objectives: we utilise the company’s products to assist in creating stunning images, animations and marketing materials; and to generate digital assets and resources for use within the products themselves. We are also internal users of new products and provide testing and feedback to the development team.
Siemens’ 3D Artists produce the highest quality marketing material for both internal and external customers as well as assisting marketing campaigns and sales opportunities. As a Siemens visualisation expert, you’ll provide feedback on internal products on usability and feature set, and may deliver webinars, blog posts, user training and presentations on how best to use the visualisation within the product range.
What you’ll bring?
- The ability to work in 3D, with a good eye for detail and an understanding of rendering principles
- An understanding and passion for what makes an engaging visualisation
- Passion for continuous learning and have an adaptable approach to working on a range of projects, at concept and detail level
- An understanding of the material and lighting creation process involved with creating assets for a number of our visualisation domains including immersive through to fully photorealistic
