🌟 What You’ll Be Doing
As one of our valued Online Delivery Drivers, you’ll be:
- Delivering groceries directly to our customers’ homes on time and in perfect condition
- Greeting customers with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism
- Handling containers and products carefully – lifting items up to 15kg
- Answering customer queries and keeping them updated on delays, changes, or substitutions
- Helping in-store when not on delivery rounds – you’re a team player through and through!
You’ll be the face of Sainsbury’s, bringing our values and excellent service to life – right on the doorstep.
What You’ll Need
To drive one of our iconic delivery vans, you’ll need a few essentials:
✔️ A full UK or EU manual driving licence
✔️ At least 12 months driving experience
✔️ No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
✔️ Be over 18 years old (insurance purposes)
✔️ Be comfortable lifting items up to 15kg
✔️ A passion for providing great customer service
✔️ Willingness to complete an online driving risk assessment and in-store driving assessment if successful

Start your shift with a warm welcome and a quick check of your van.
Load your deliveries, check your schedule, and hit the road.
Along the way, you’ll:
✅ Navigate safely and efficiently to customers’ homes
