Role Overview:

In this pivotal Project Manager position, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of projects from inception to completion. Your core duties will encompass:

• Strategic Project Planning and Execution: Defining and managing project scope, developing detailed schedules, allocating resources efficiently, controlling budgets, and ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Robust Financial Oversight: Accurately estimating project costs, conducting precise financial forecasting, and implementing effective cost control measures to optimize project budgets.
• Proactive Risk and Opportunity Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks, while actively seeking and capitalizing on opportunities to maximize project value and ensure successful outcomes.
• Rigorous Governance and Compliance: Ensuring all project activities adhere to established governance frameworks, defined roles and responsibilities, and comprehensive reporting policies, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
• Effective Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, and fostering collaborative partnerships to achieve project objectives.

Role Details:

• Location: Ashton Vale, Bristol (Hybrid working model, requiring up to 2 days of onsite presence per month)

What We Are Looking For:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Proven experience in project management, ideally within support or in-service projects, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in utilizing project controls tools and methodologies to support informed decision-making and ensure project success.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make sound commercial decisions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling you to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, and the ability to apply this knowledge to achieve project objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Professional Qualification (PPQ) or Project Management Qualification (PMQ) (Desirable).
• Valid UK Driving Licence (Preferred).

• Applicants must be sole UK nationals and eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
